    Welcome to G.E.T.                                NO SIGN-UP FEE!

The G.E.T. School of English is a flexible and friendly school for all ages and all kinds of people. Based in Noda city in Chiba-ken, about three minutes walk from Atago station on the Tobu-Noda line, we cater mainly to people from the Noda area. Classes outside Noda are possible if requested well in advance.

We teach Conversation English, Business English, Travel English, Specialized English and Academic English to teens and adults. We also have a very happy bunch of kids learning Children's English here, too.

Classes are one on one (private) or with a group, depending on your requirements. Video classes (with film scripts) are also possible on request as are conversation classes in French and German.

We believe in teaching you what you WANT to learn as well as what you NEED to learn.

ATAGO station is 8 stops from KASHIWA on the Tobu-Noda line and from OMIYA direction it is 6 stops after KASUKABE.

The owner and president of
G.E.T. School of English
 Richard H. Jones was born In London, England. He attended Westminster City School and London University before travelling extensively around Europe as a Singer/Songwriter/Recording Artist. He speaks fluent French and German and a little Spanish. He apologizes to his host country for his terrible 'gaijin' Japanese. He has taught English in France, Germany, Spain and Italy. He came to Japan in 1998 and bgan teaching Business English and High School English. He has taught at NEC, Mitsubishi Materials, Mitsubishi Shipping, Seiko, Sharp, Honda (Research and Development), Nippon Steel and many more, helping Workers, Engineers, Sales managers and Executives use English comfortably both in their working environment and in conversation. He then went on to teach in Colleges and schools, covering all age groups from pre-school to University. He brings this wealth of experience to G.E.T. and his dream is to pass on not only the fascinating world of the English language but also the global culture of those who speak English. He is delighted to know the Japanese people have a wonderful sense of humour.
